That's why we've built a marketplace that connects boat owners with adventurers across Australia, making it ridiculously easy to get out on the water without the cost, commitment, or complexity of ownership. Whether you're planning a lazy Sunday on the bay, a family fishing trip, a bucks weekend on the harbour, or a full-day island-hopping adventure — Buoyly has a boat for you, a skipper who knows the water, and a community that loves it just as much as you do. This isn't a rental agency. It's your mate with a boat — and his mate, and her mate. Real owners, real boats, real adventures. The skipper knows the best spots, the safest routes, and the hidden coves that never make it onto Google Maps.

How did it all begin?
Well, we are just like yourselves. We love the water, we sail, cruise, anchor up, swim and BBQ the day into the evening. But we discovered that our time on the water was becoming less and less. The cost of living had started to eat into out boating life.
So over a cup of coffee, lots of conversations, we decided to create the opportunity the we could share the cost of boat ownership. That we could look up via website or app and find who might be available as and when we were. To jump on their boat, under their captaincy and enjoy making new or old friends and continue to live a life on the water at a fraction of the cost!
Buoy - like floating buoy - Buoyly was born!
We at Buoyly, want to achieve a marketplace where people can retain the ownership of their vessel their sharing the cost with adventurers, boat enthusiasts. We want to make boating more accessible to everyone. We would like to create the space where you do not need to be from wealth to enjoy the water, that you and your family and mates can find a vessel of your choice.
As a boat owner, our marketplace allows you to recover the costs of boat ownership. This isn’t a boat rental marketplace, rather it is a sharing place to connect boat owners and boat enthusiasts who want to help cover the costs of a boating experience!
This means whilst on the water, as a boat owner you are in charge and captaining your own boat. For the enthusiast, it means that the boat is captained by the owner and all you need to do is, relax or fish or swimming, eat and take in the sunshine and simply enjoy!
This marketplace is for everyone, we, at Buoyly, and being Aussies surrounded by water, we are committed and determined to make boating an affordable and wonderful experience.
